I'm not saying this because I supported the invasion of Iraq. I think it was horribly wrong. But I can't stand anti-war activists who are themselves so full of hate that they have to demonize whatever is connected to the war.
Making a single thing, idea, or event the focal point for all your rage is reminiscent of a deranged mind.

Personally, I don't see how evolution would preclude the Christians' God in any particular way; I'm also not deluded enough to believe that evolutionary theory is somehow a bedrock of scientific data (hence why I prefer to use the term "hypothesis" when dealing with the issue).

On top of this, I found the tone to be mildly condescending. A truly fruitful debater seeks to actually try to make his opponent see some validity in his position; you go after a person like that and you're just going to drive them deeper into a hole.

Personally, on questions such as physical origins (questions which are, in my view, utterly meaningless for ME in the PRESENT) I tend to treat everything as brain candy to be toyed with and picked apart. It's not that big a deal.
